The Maserati F Tributo Special Edition arrives in the U.S. and Canada this month, fully inspired by our longstanding tradition of racing history and competition. The F Tributo Special Edition honors the illustrious driver Fangio, who made his mark during the roaring 20s. He began his career with the Tipo26, which claimed first place in the 1500 CC class at the Targa Florio. When you have motorsports in your genes, tuning, the sound of the exhaust, and the attention to detail are key components of any successful (and memorable) build.

28 years later during the age of great expansion, Maserati made its much-anticipated debut in F1 and joined the motorsports world via in an 250 F expertly driven by Juan Manuel Fangio. This was a motorized match made in heaven, and was crowned with multiple victories. This new special series captures the essence of Maserati’s spirit with sporty looks and accents.

To complete its distinct look and essence, the Levante F Tributo is fitted with 21” Anteo wheels in Gloss Black, while the Ghibli F Tributo has 21” Titano wheels and is also Gloss Black. Badging is an excellent way to show off a car that has been constructed with a focus and finishing element of this caliber. These models also boast an “F Tributo” badge in gloss black on the wheel arch and the trident logo in body color spotted directly on the C pillar.

With its immediately recognizable style, dynamic personality, and character that is appealing to the choosiest driving palates in the world, the Ghilbi and Levante are now available in hybrid versions, making history as Maserati’s first electric cars. Those in the supercar world have long been anticipating the arrival of the MC20, the Maserati that features a one-of-a-kind and revolutionary Nettuno V6 and uses F1-sourced technology for the first time in a consumer production model!

The highly anticipated Maserati Quattroporte is a true icon of Italian elegance, renewing the vigor and original race-ready luxury that the Maserati brand has held since its humble beginnings! The Quattroporte is a capable and stylish sedan that is primed and ready for the thrill seekers. Since its first appearance during the 1960s, the Quattroporte has been a staple of amazing touring cars for decades.

The Quattroporte was truly the symbol of success for businessmen worldwide when it was released, but there was something drastically different and game-changing under the skin of this creation: the first model possessed a unique steel bodywork as opposed to the chassis-based construction popular during those times. The V8 engine cranking out 260 horsepower easily took the lead over anything the United States had to offer, and it then topped out at a startling 130 mph!

The quad-light setup was a defining component in the Quattroporte’s appearance, which remained the same until ownership of the Maserati brand changed hands during 1993. The current-model Quattroporte was introduced to the market in 2013, with the top-of-the-line Trofeo boasting 580 horsepower and a top speed of over 200 mph. On December 14, 1986, the built-to-order ultra-luxury version of the Quattroporte debuted featuring a 4.9-liter V8, and proudly boasting electronically adjustable seats along with retractable tables in the rear doors. Many remembered it by its one-of-a-kind minibar, alloy wheels, and distinct use of a compact and capable power plant.

The fifth generation of the Quattroporte was first shown to the public at the Frankfurt Motor show in 2003, and then graced the sandtraps and fairways at the US Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. It was built on an entirely new M139 platform, and its unique architecture would later ride underneath the GranTurismo and GranCabrio convertibles and coupes. Over 5,000 were released during 2006, with grand touring enthusiasts loving its top speed, unique configuration, and immediately recognizable chrome grille.

The 3.8-Liter engine onboard is shared with the world-famous Ferrari 488, Portofinio, and boasts the performance benefits of a crossplane crankshaft and fine-tuned sump lubrication. The V6 four-wheel drive Q4 drivetrain is the same that is found in the Ghibli, and this new sedan gets even better with the Trofeo model: its firm suspension, off-the-charts agile handling, and Q4 all-wheel-drive system will all make for a sleek ride!

When the Maserati Grecale makes its official debut, it will be Maserati’s second luxury SUV after the Levante. Last week, the first images of the incoming Grecale Trofeo were leaked.

11 Grecale parts are now listed for sale, including the front bumper with grille, headlights, taillights, fenders, and 21-inch wheels, indicating the vehicle is coming soon. Many of the Maserati models share physical features, and the incoming Trofeo shares a few bumper and grille traits with its relative in the form of the Levante.

The official release will be just a few short days before the L.A. Auto Show, and some of the most notable critics worldwide have already given the design praise for the wide and curvy rear fenders. Critics are also excited for the chance that it will have the same exhilarating V6 from the Ghibli or V8 from the rest of the various Trofeo lineup.

With the Grecale sharing the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, power will be sourced from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine in the base model, generating 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. The eco-conscious hybrid version will also join the lineup. By consistently pushing design limits and embracing the utmost in innovative technology, the Grecale is sure to be an instant hit when it premieres in just over one month!

It’s no secret that crossovers are wildly popular. They are practical for the daily drive but have lately been accentuated with high-end flair and world-class touches. That trend will continue, as Maserati has officially announced that they will make a high-powered Trofeo version of the Maserati Grecale.

Maserati CEO William Pfeifer claimed during a PR appearance that Maserati intends to fully capitalize on the lucrative and popular compact SUV segment, which is the fastest-growing in the industry right now. We have closely observed just how BMW’s X3, Audi’s Q5, Merc’s GLC, and the Porsche Macan have won drivers over, and have gone to great measures to assure that our models include features and handling quality that are astronomically superior to anything else in existence.

The looks, feel, and features on the GT, Modena, and Trofeo trims are sure to impress. The GT models will have a decidedly urban flair, while the Modena will boast a bit more lavish and upper-end visual characteristics.

The Grecale is a very strong north-east wind of the Mediterranean, and this model’s development has provided amazing challenges for aerodynamic and performance prowess. A few shots courtesy of Motor1.com showed a steering wheel that definitely drew inspiration from the incoming MC20, a prominent round airbag, and a short three-spoke design and paddle shifters for the transmission.

The expectation is to find a standard 2.0-liter mild-hybrid powertrain with the MC20’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 as another option. An official announcement last month claimed that an all-electric version will come later, and we also expect the Grecale to borrow from the Stelvio.

With an affluent and artistic vibe, Monterey was the perfect location for the Northern California debut of the MC20 on the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn this week. VIP spectators were able to get a long-awaited first glance at the futuristic lines and sleek presence of the revolutionary sports car.

The world-class Nettuno engine evokes a strong sense of trademark Maserati heritage and is a V6 with F1 technology that creates a class-leading power-to-weight ratio that can propel the MC20 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds flat.

Built in Modena, Italy, our longstanding Italian tradition shines through in every square inch of this supercar that celebrates the raw excitement of shifting gears and changing lanes on an amped-up outing! Monterey has a Mediterranean climate and is a perfect location to allow the area’s most passionate automobile fans to experience the captivating and powerful presence of this modern-day engineering achievement.

With lightning-quick acceleration, sharp handling, and excellent styling inside and out, the MC20 is sure to make a memorable leap forward for the entire Maserati brand. The collaboration with engineering company Dallara resulted in the structure brandishing aluminum subframes for the powertrain and suspension, which minimizes overall weight and adds to peak performance. There’s also an optional front suspension lifter to assist you if you need extra clearance for rapidly incoming speed bumps.

Car And Driver confirmed after drive testing the MC20 that it is “blisteringly quick and handling is racecar sharp,” and that the performance was simply otherworldly. Inside the cabin are upscale materials with a sporty vibe, including black leather seats, unique aluminum pedals, and carbon-fiber trim. The next-generation interface using Google’s Android Automotive OS is projected nicely on a 10.3-inch horizontally-oriented touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, and an accompanying 10.3-inch screen is on deck for the gauge cluster.

There are some exciting and Earth-friendly changes on the horizon for Jim Butler Maserati, as Maserati is looking toward the future of electric vehicles! The MC20 coupe is sure to be one of the most memorable events in years for the top-tier speed demons out there, featuring its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that cranks out 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in less than 2.9 seconds.

The Grecale SUV is next on the arrival list, which for now will derive conventional power from either a turbo four-liter or 3.0-liter V6. Both next year and 2023 will see the release of two separate EVs, with one of them potentially being an electric Levante SUV. The GranTurismo is also set to be redesigned next year, although it has not yet been confirmed if it is a future EV.

In late 2019, Maserati announced that they would make a $6 billion investment into hybrid and electric propulsion, as well as autonomous driving technology. The allure of the zero-emission ride is becoming stronger by the day, as charge times become faster, and drivers worldwide share excitement to ditch trips to the pump and be more eco-friendly. The world-renowned Innovation Lab is still in Modena, Italy, where our heart and soul are based.

Modena is the magical place where our extraordinary and legendary cars have been produced for over 80 years, all possessing high luxury, style, performance, and personality. Autoweek ran a piece recently in which they approved of the incoming GranTurismo’s styling. They said it does not conform to the “sometimes treacherous” path that other automakers can follow when it comes down to interior design, making it a breath of fresh air. The GranTurismo will be our brand’s first car that will adopt a 100% electric solution and is now undergoing a period of intense road and circuit testing.

The all-electric models on the horizon will enjoy the combination of traditional Maserati driving dynamics alongside next-generation battery-electric technology, offering extended range, ultra-fast charging options, and drive modes unique to their model. Many enthusiasts have claimed that the off-the-line acceleration from an electric model is something every touring aficionado should experience!

When one of our premier luxury vehicles is in the final stages of development, the engineering and testing crews are allowed the pleasure of driving them around public places. The Carscoops crew was spending a day in Italy recently and saw the GranTurismo’s nearly finished model on a drive.

It has since been confirmed that the incoming generation of GranCabrio and GranTurismo will be available in both ICE and EV models. This was highlighted last year as part of our brand’s full renaissance, which will include 13 new model launches within the next three years. During the winter, an earlier version of the GranTurismo was seen with an Alfa Romeo Guilia body, but development plans have changed a bit since. The second-generation model bears quite a resemblance to its Pininfarina-designed predecessor that was produced for over a decade.

These spy shots offer a much clearer view of the car from various angles. Starting up front, there are LED headlights sitting on the front fenders, drawing inspiration from the striking MC20. The sculpted front bumper’s appearance is dominated by the large grille and air intakes situated on either side. The rear fenders form a sleekly designed tail with a heavily inclined rear windshield and sporty new taillights.

The engine is most likely the new twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that was first introduced in the MC20. Maserati has officially confirmed that both GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be available with the fully electric powertrain, which will be the first EVS ever to brandish the iconic trident emblem.

Greatly improved performance figures, sharper handling, and a more premium cabin in the new model will all be winning traits to watch for down the road. These awesome shots from Car and Driver offer a few more looks at the prototype testing. You may notice the similarity to the MC20 as well as a chrome-tipped exhaust.

A convertible model is slated to make its debut a year after the coupe. This arrival will surely be a welcome companion for anyone who loves the grand touring experience!

At Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we are excited about the high quality models on the lot, and we’re even more excited to share details on what’s coming soon. The writers at Autoblog.com filled their readers in on the changes around the corner, which will include new trim levels for the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans, as well as the Levante crossover SUV.

In the Ghibli, the GT will generate power from the 3.0-liter twin-turbo making 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. It will also feature 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome accents, as well as leather comfort seats and the wickedly cool Dark Mirror trim inside. The Ghibli Modena will boast a 424-horsepower version of the V6 with 428 lb-ft of torque, completely restyled bumpers featuring black inserts, and 20-inch wheels. Inside, there will be ultra-stylish and comfortable “wraparound” leather seats, and the top-tier Ghibli Trofeo returns with its Ferrari-built 580-horsepower twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8.

The Quattroporte GT will be the lucky recipient of the same 345-hp twin-turbo V6 as the Ghibli GT, with this smartly-larger sedan upgrading to 19-inch wheels on the outside and the “radica” trim inside. The Modena has a 424-hp V6 and rolls on 20-inch wheels with the inside decorated on formal black accents. The Quattroporte Trofeo will brandish the 580-hp twin-turbo V8, carbon-fiber exterior, 21-inch wheels, and red brake calipers.

The Levante GT is still equipped with the 345-hp V6, and its Modena will roar with the 424-hp V6. The Levante Trofeo will run on the 580-horsepower version of the V8, with its traditional carbon-fiber exterior trim and 21-inch wheels. Our prized Levante GTS has been tested in extreme conditions such as desert and ice, as well as challenging off-road locations all around the world.

The GTS reaches 60 mph in just 4 seconds and is just one example of how game-changing and amazingly capable every single model in the new lineup will be. One drive in a model with Pieno-Fiore full-grain natural leather will leave you a firm believer for good, as the soft and otherworldly comfort is in a class of its own. Our patented full-LED Adaptive Matrix headlamps enhance driving safety in the dark, and with visibility around the quickest of curves, you’ll be navigating effortlessly!

One of the most exciting announcements of this decade for us here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis is the coming of the MC20 Supercar, which will no doubt set the pace for upper-end autos soon. The bloggers on staff at Carbuzz.com claimed that our production staff in Modena is always churning out excellence, and knew that we would be just fine without the input we cherished during years past from the grade-A engineering and engine placement from Ferrari.

We are at long last hard at work on developing a new GranTurismo, and these recent teaser images give one a close idea of what to expect after figuring out through various avenues of the grapevine what they know about the upcoming sports car. After a close look, it appears that the GranTurismo will feature headlights that are similar to what the MC20 will have, and the engine onboard is likely to boast a bit less than 620 horsepower yet just a delightful touch more than 454.

There should be a convertible version in the works as well, and the overall design seems to possess the appearance of an MC20 with different proportions along with some memorable bits from the 2014 Alfieri Concept, which has been put on the consistently-stoked back burner for the time being. We have been delighted to see just how the signature GT brought Maserati back in the luxury performance segment, and as the Car and Driver staff claimed over the spring, the trunk’s decrease in capacity may make room for a cool folding fabric roof.

The Touch Control Plus infotainment system has been praised for its quick responses, intuitive touch, and a consistent step above its competitors in terms of user-friendliness. The new GranTurismo will also feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and possess the same unbridled and raw finesse that has come to be expected from us as Italy’s leading supercar manufacturer. The GranTurismo will follow in the footsteps of the very defined and distinguished Maserati predecessors when it comes to interior features and design and is still satisfyingly on point to be our brand’s first car embracing a 100% electric offering.

The prototypes for cars that are held to standards as high as these undergo very intense road and circuit testing, and prove themselves in many various conditions to be finally ready for a new consumer’s purchase. Folgore is Italian for “Lightning”, and will be used for the battery-electric models in the lineup. Every new model available here at Jim Butler will be 100% made in Italy and will adopt hybrid and battery electric propulsion systems capable of providing the exceptionally high performance we aspire to offer in our vehicles.

We know that the most intense forms of change are right around the corner, and also wholeheartedly predict that models such as the incoming Gran Turismo will meet the needs of car lovers everywhere to once again “Diveto di fermata” with a fine-honed fervor!

Here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis, we are thrilled that the models we offer here on the lot easily fit that description, and the Hybrid Ghibli was released in July of last year to exciting fans worldwide. The Levante will now undergo the same exciting 48-volt restoration, and offers a new GT trim level as well as a few revisions that debuted this year.

The lifeblood of this electrified SUV is a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine boasting a mild-hybrid setup and four cylinders. It cranks out 330 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, which multiple expert test drivers have claimed offers up diesel-like characteristics in the low-end rpms while having the smoothness you could expect from a six-cylinder gasoline mill. This new Levante makes it up to 60 mph in just six short seconds and has a top speed of 149 mph.

Equipped with all-wheel drive, air suspension, and a mechanical limited-slip differential as standard equipment, fuel consumption is cut by 16 percent, and weight distribution is split evenly between the two axles after the hybrid-related battery is mounted in the back. The brand-new 3-layer metallic blue shade named “Azzuro Astro” is well-characterized by blue accents on the 3 side air intakes, logo by the C-pillar, and brake calipers. There’s an awesome interior upgrade in the form of an 8.4-inch touchscreen next to the 7-inch driver’s display, and this is one of the world’s only SUVs that is truly track-ready that resides on 21-inch wheels.

The traditional and famed Maserati “growl” will still be emitted from the existing exhaust, without the need for electronic amplifiers that will aid future electric models in producing the one-of-a-kind sound. We are excited to fulfill the promise of 13 new models within the next 3 years, with fully-electric models beginning to arrive in 2022 and branded as the signature Folgore variety, or “Thunderbolt” in Italian. All future EV’s will boast a 3-motor makeup with one residing on the front axle and two on the rear.

This will provide the means for all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, and power can be sent to each axle depending on desired traction level. The 800v EV system used for future vehicles will allow for favorable charging rates of up to 300kW, employing the same technology found in Formula 1 and Formula E powertrains. This very important model and “step along the way” leading up to full electrification is sure to enjoy its very own version of pride and popularity, with the full-blooded spirit of the grand touring essence and track-hungry contender as its inspiration!
