Now the first Italian luxury car brand to produce fully-electric models, Maserati has officially announced plans for the market launch of the electric Maserati Folgore. Announced at the “MMXX: Time to be Audacious” event in September 2020, Maserati has completed the in-depth brand revamp and is now ready for the market’s official launch of the new 100% electric range Folgore.

The new GranTurismo will be made at the Mirofori production hub, and see its official market debut next year. It will be a very strong leader of the pack and benchmark of esteemed innovation with technical solutions derived from the Formula E.

The all-new Grecale SUV was recently unveiled and will also be available in an electric version. Each specific Maserati model will come in a 100% electric version within the next three years, completed with the MC20 sports car, the new Quattroporte sedan, and the full-size Levante SUV. These times are ripe with innovation and drastic change that will play a huge part in shaping the future of driving.

The “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan announced on March 1 had officially outlined the plan for all new models to be developed, engineered, and produced 100% in Italy, adopting electric powertrains to bring about sleek innovation and high performance that is characteristic of Maserati. Each of Maserati’s successful cars possess the design, performance, comfort, and safety traits that lead the industry with flair and one-of-a-kind standout function. The Trofeo Collection includes the Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante, with the Ghibli and Levante being the brand’s first electrified hybrids. Just before the switch to efficient and Earth-saving technology fully takes place, you’ll be able to enjoy the raw performance and excitement of the MC20, powered by the F1-sourced Nettuno V6.

Maserati knows what makes up an Italian sports car in terms of personality, safety, elegance, and design. The future is exciting due to the technical features and unique styles that will be offered. Each model coming soon will not only provide unique opportunities for future sustainability, but also channel the same eccentric and alluring charm that only models from the Maserati namesake can.
