2023 Maserati Grecale

The brand that we love to provide and service so much during the scorching summer months here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis has long been known as a pinnacle of luxury. With its high-end cabin environment, incredibly powerful optional V6 and very professionally balanced handling, the Grecale enjoys its handsome style and well-configured outfit. It’s not just the exciting performance specs that set our models apart, but one of the most exciting qualities of the 2023 Grecale is its Ferrari-sourced Trofeo powertrain.
The Nettuno is the first non-Ferrari engine in a non-Trofeo vehicle in over two decades, and the Motor Biscuit auto review crew immediately reported back after a test drive that it does not at all disappoint. Both the GT and Grecale Modena models, equipped standard with the four-cylinder turbocharged mild hybrid powertrain system, cranking out 300 and 330 horsepower respectively. The Grecale Trofeo final configuration uses a twin-turbocharged V6 which is where the true aficionado’s adventure really begins, making an amazing case for an entire segment of vehicles that have been able to stand just fine on their own minus a V8.
This is not just a family-oriented entry in the Maserati lineup, albeit an ideal one for anyone looking for a domestic transporter with a standout flair. Situated at a price point that is not hopelessly out of reach for many drivers, slotting adequately directly below the much larger, mid-size Levante. The face of the Grecale still bears the distinctive Maserati grille, but the rest of its body appears in a class with competitors such as the BMW X3, Porsche Macan, and Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
The Car and Driver troupe was smitten with the ride in Comfort mode: a bit softer and pillowy, it still is the ideal way to set high-octane ideals to the side and enjoy an amusement park or summertime lake adventure. As soon as you engage Sport mode, the pavement prowler in you enjoys immediate satisfaction, as a sense of grippiness and distinct aerodynamics allow for the very unfiltered enjoyment of acceleration to shine through. The turbo 4 cylinders are rated at about 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, and two of the best add-ons we’d recommend are the three-zone climate system and head-up display.
Inside is a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and pair of touch screens on the center stack, with the upper handling infotainment duty and the lower taking care of HVAC and other vitals. The Grecale’s cargo area offers up to 20 cubic feet of space, and each model comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The entertainment system also is very easily able to work with very useful voice-command services such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and another stellar upgrade we’d have to recommend is the 21-speaker 1295-watt Sonus Faber premium stereo system.
The Gear Patrol testing crew took the top-shelf Grecale Trofeo out for a thrilling spin on the farm roads outside of Rome, and the Modena in and around the Big Apple. The Trofeo was eager to rip up quickly to redline with extreme strength and pulled forward without any sense of hesitation. Both models were extremely fun to throw around corners as any enthusiast would love to at the wheel of a sedan, thanks to razor-sharp steering and well-engineered suspension. The Cnet review crew claimed that the 2023 Grecale is “an excellent case of a new build possessing a fluid soul”, and we guarantee you that one test drive will remind you thoroughly why you gravitate towards the finer things in life!

Since the very first 4.9-liter V8 was mounted under the hood of the 5000 GT in 1959, the brand we enjoy providing and supporting so much here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis has seen over 100,000 V8-powered models roll onto lots worldwide. We know that diehard aficionados may be a little reluctant to embellish this moment, but we are officially commemorating the V8’s legendary existence with special editions of the Levante and Ghibli coming soon.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will be the site of the official reveal for this eclectic pair, which is an exhilarating event that is an extended tribute to the world’s most glamorous sport. As the various cars and bikes blast up the Hillclimb track, this is an ideal setting for the public to catch their first glimpse of this iconic pair in action. The earth-conscious promise that we set out to make a reality is to have a fully electric lineup by 2030, with the ceasing of V8 production existing as one of our ways to lend a hand to the planet.

maserati trofeo v8

The most recent version of the 3.8-liter V8 has Ferrari origins and has been available under the high-powered hood of Ghibli and Levante models for the last three years. Our launch of the superpowered and phenomenal MC20 was launched with our game-changing 90-degree Nettuno V6 powertrain. It is so very important to keep in mind that we won’t discontinue the V8 overnight, but as the changes in the industry dictate many auto entities’ future, this could still be seen as a massive and heartwarming commemoration of sorts.

The 2023 Ghibli was praised highly by the Edmunds.com auto review team for its “evocative exhaust note, one-of-a-kind Italian styling, and handling quality that is segment leading.” Rivals from the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes-Benz E Class have definitely tried hard to keep their technology game up, but the Ghibli has the heartwarmingly wicked advantage of sensational Italian charm. Those who have come away pleased with test drives and brand-new ownership have also enjoyed the option of adding all-wheel drive courtesy of the Modena Trim.

The 2023 Maserati Levante is on tap and ready just in time for the summer heat with very sporty driving experience and star-studded interior. Consistently offering up a driving experience that is very quick on its feet along with a very civilized ride, the Levante has always been first in mind as an SUV that gives sport sedans a true run for their money. The Levante is offered with a pair of Ferrari-built engines, boasting A class-leading high-end output of 572 horsepower. The top spec Trofeo model shows up with a rumbling twin turbo V8 and an overabundance of rich available power.

During a press conference a few years back, CEO Davide Grasso clarified that the phasing out of internal combustion engines by 2030 may depend on individual markets and unique customer demands. We can firmly attest here that the future of electrification is already upon us, and we think that the timetable we have laid out is completely attainable. We recognize that the shift to electrification has been a little slow within the outright luxury segment, but also realize that we have long depended on superhuman V8 and V12 engines for inspiration.

We hope to see you this summer as the golf courses are freshly trimmed, the twisting Missouri roads are always inviting, and there are so many unique and sustainable models to choose from here at Jim Butler Maserati!

So many trends within the automotive realm have changed over recent years, and here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we have noticed that buyers have been shifting from sedans to luxury SUVs. There is a sense of capable versatility and benefit of extra cargo room that appeals to busy families, and we have long had the likes of the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne in our sights as competition to enjoy outdoing as always! The 2023 Maserati Levante boasts a curvaceous and muscular stance to stand out for those who are looking for an upper-end and unordinary touch.

The Cars.com review team spent a week with the Levante’s top-level Trofeo trim, and eagerly posted a blog about the traits they loved during the excitement. The bold, blacked-out grille and sharply angled rear hatch gives the Levante a very distinct and athletic look. Trademark fender bulges, blacked-out trim and 22-inch wheels all add to the Trofeo’s black-tie-affair-inspired appearance. Other elements such as vent ports on the front fenders, XXL Maserati logo, and Rosso Magma paint all are reminiscent of our brand that is World Class.

Powertrain duties are handled by a ferociously legendary and Ferrari-sourced twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8, cranking out 580 horsepower. This was referred to enthusiastically by the Cars.com team as an “outright gem”, which dishes out an excellent soundtrack while rocketing the vehicle from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The base-model Levante is powered by the still-tremendous 345-horsepower, twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6. The Levante’s characteristically low center of gravity and seating position render it one of the most unique driving experiences on the market today and give it a torpedo-like sense of grounding that is a unique treat from behind the wheel.

Inside you’ll find a blend of retro and modern luxury, with high-quality leather on the dash, doors, and seats that commands attention and provide comfort to the fullest. Many manufacturers have strayed from analog dials and blended all the vitals in with the touchscreen, and the Trofeo’s gauges evoke simplicity and charm far beyond what competitors have exuded with a bit more stainless-steel aesthetic. There is also a new Maserati-themed version of the Uconnect multimedia system, with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and is very user-friendly.

We also can’t resist appreciating what the Car and Driver crew thought of the exhaust note, as they reflected it “sang operas” alongside a “100% pure and exotic V8”. Here it is outlined that this is a vehicle that fully delivers on performance aspects and wardrobe, while they also were thoroughly smitten with the Ermenegildo Zegna leather-and-silk upholstery. The Edmunds.com auto crew gave the Levante the highest of their marks for its quick acceleration, lively handling, and pure-bred Italian flair.

They also were excited about the body roll and torque-vectoring electronics that allow for the sharpest and most fun turns they had encountered on any test drive thus far this year. After successfully coming up with a model that is completely different and has a unique character, we are certain that the Levante is the best option for any affluent daily driver that is after a model that strays far from the norm. The Trofeo also can confidently stake its claim to the top of the lineup with the fantastic sounds of the available 17-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system onboard.

Maserati Grecale

We have realized for quite some time now here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis that the crossover SUV segment has been one to keep close track of, and the everyday brands out there have tried desperately to churn out winners in rapid succession. Our Grecale is named after the magical breeze that graces the entire Italian boot’s peninsula, this model offers up a very performance-focused rear-drive Giorgio platform that it shares with the Stelvio.

This is our second SUV that proudly sports the iconic trident logo and has completely redefined the luxury essence of our esteemed and unique namesake. Positioned directly under the Levante, you’ll still notice the distinct vertically ribbed grille in front, and an overall first visual impression that provides a fastback-like image along with futuristic styled accents. In the rear, you’ll notice the style of “boomerang taillights” that drew notable inspiration from the Giugiaro 3200 GT, flowing nicely down to the brand-new quad exhausts that define the audible note that decades of Maserati fans hold dear to their hearts.

The Grecale body is just a bit longer and more refined than the Stelvio, and comes standard with all-wheel drive, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the GT model’s 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 mild hybrid cranks out 296 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft of torque. The Modena trim ups the ante flavorfully with a 325-horsepower version of the 4-cylinder, which reaches up to 60 mph in just five seconds. Both trims have a top speed of 149 mph, with the boisterous Trofeo providing maximum performance with the 523-horsepower twin-turbo V6.

Later this year, the all-electric Folgore will claim its spot in the lineup, marking a massive change towards clean energy and an exciting future of trademark performance. The Paper City digital magazine auto testing crew claimed that the Grecale was consistently sure footed and agile, with excellent acceleration and a steering quality that makes twisty roads and free time a rewarding match. After you press the left button to fire the Grecale to life and then dial in Sport mode, the experience that follows is athletic enough to make any driver quickly embrace their need for some “alone time” behind the wheel.

One of the most dominating features inside is the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, along with the pair of digital displays on the center stack where the climate and infotainment controls are. The auto world’s seasoned experts have loved the refreshing and simple approach this console was built with, and there’s extra space for a covered storage area and wireless phone charger. From opera to an all-out club mix dose of inspiration, the 21-speaker Sonus Faber sound system with laser-cut metal grilles is a music connoisseur’s perfect added touch.

There’s 20 cubic feet of space in the second row, and the official verdict regarding the Grecale is that its balance of seductive appeal and feature-rich operation is going to win over true auto enthusiasts in droves. The Car and Driver crew remarked that its “High-end cabin, powerful V6 option, and expertly balanced handling” set it immediately apart from the rest. The Motor Trend review team were eager to report after their predominantly-highway cruise with the Grecale that it is a “fully-fledged crossover to be trusted 100% in action”, and loved the curved taillights that seemed to channel the original 1998 3200 GT.

Our “Italian-bred fine work finished on canvas” utilizing electrification in the form of the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore is coming soon here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis, and we know it is a fitting rival up against the likes of adversaries such as the Porsche Taycan! The Hot Cars blogging team was thrilled to announce on their blog this week that this could be thought of as “the iPhone of electric cars”, feeling better and more thoroughly integrated than any opponents regarding the competition.

The GranTurismo Folgore is on track to be displayed proudly as a true masterpiece of design, with the low height and 20/21-inch aerodynamic wheels primed to slice through the atmosphere with precision and strength! The central Trident logo and front grill remain notable accents our brand has always enjoyed, and the side vents have a unique electric blue hue. The experts who have already been lucky enough to test drive the Folgore have enjoyed its improved aerodynamics, thanks to the presence of segment-leading front and rear diffusers.

The GranTurismo Folgore roars out of the gate with a renewed sense of purpose and an Earth-saving mantra, claiming 760 eager horsepower to boot. This allows for a 202-mph top speed, and short flight on up to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, all with a weight under the 5,000-lb mark. The brand we love to represent here every day is already claiming a solid hold in the electric medium courtesy of Formula E, and the same principles were implemented to make the Folgore’s powertrain so powerful.

It is most definitely unreal to look at and completely surreal to drive, and the GranTurismo Folgore also benefits from a very low center of gravity, which keeps its height at just 4.5 feet. This renders it the undisputed champ as far as top speed is concerned up against the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and this revolutionary rivalry between the two is also closely looked at when it comes to range. The Folgore edges in gracefully for the win in this category as well, boasting a 280-mile range following a WLTP cycle up against the Taycan’s 230-mile range.

The Porsche Turbo S weighs about 1,500 lbs. heavier than the GranTurismo Folgore, while the pair both have a max battery size of 93 kWh, along with the benefit of standard regenerative braking. The Folgore operates with three permanent magnet electric motors, one for the front and back with each running readily on 300kWh. The cells are constructed by LG Chem in Italy with Stellantis as a visionary stakeholder in the electrification process. The battery itself is arranged in a “T-bone” layout, which allows for the helpful engineering advantage of 50:50 weight distribution.

Every little bit counts when it comes to the cars of tomorrow vigorously intersecting with the offerings of today, and the Folgore also comes with custom-designed Aero wheels that heartily up the efficiency factor. Existing with a single-gear ratio there is no need for a transmission, and the very game-changing Maserati electric vehicles sub-brand will offer a fleet of innovative all-electric cars within two years. Once inside you’ll immediately notice the upper-end quality of the ECONYL regenerated nylon fiber, which reduces the impacts of nylon’s global warming by up to 90%.

Maserati Grecale

Now that we have the MC20 supercar securely poised in our fleet here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we feel as if we are supremely easing into the bounty of the automotive future and have many other models that those who love the finer things in life will love to test drive! A GranCabrio convertible is arriving soon, and so will the new Levante SUV along with the Quattroporte flagship. The Grecale crossover SUV is a fitting and all-around fantastic rival for the Porsche Macan, sharing a few things in common with the Stelvio.

Known for incredible road manners and a translation of its roadworthy abilities that boils down to extreme fun during every drive, it gets its logic and appeal from generations of touring and everyday excellence. The Grecale is well-buffed and blended in nicely for being synonymous with the wind that blows across Malta to Greece. Our cars have been named after winds since 1963 when the characteristic Mistral rolled off the line, followed by the Ghibli, Bora, Khamsin and Levante.

The Stelvio is now assembled at the same Stellantis assembly plant in Cassino Italy that the junior crossover is, and it gets a longer body, improved interior space, and segment-leading powertrains. The stance is a bit snub-nosed off the bat, and sticks to its styling roots in ways that have been compared to a “stiletto heel.” There is a huge trident directly on the vertically ribbed grille, and an enamel badge sits above this grille dipped in the Giallo Corse yellow paint. The lower air intakes are framed with Carbon-fiber ribbons, and 21-inch wheels bear more spokes this time around.

The sport exhaust juts nicely out from a carbon-fiber exterior, and the rear end features an appropriately large Maserati logo over a prevalent chrome beam. There are a very sweet pair of touchscreens that cascade down the center stack, under a digital version of the Maserati trident that gradually morphs into a clock. The interior is quite heavy on fitting black gloss, which even makes its presence known on the steering wheel, and pushbutton controls that are standing in line patiently for the full-on coming of electrification.

Carbon-fiber trim and yellow twin-stitched seats and contrasted leather trim panels are all contrasted with laser-cut metal grilles that house the lavish audio system. There is a battery-electric version of the Grecale in the form of the Folgore coming soon, and the base engine option now is the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 presented in mild-hybrid configuration. It cranks out 296 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque and ups the stakes to 325 horses and 332 lb-ft in Modena guise. The GT model screeches up to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds and commands a top speed of 149 mph.

The Trofeo soars blissfully at the top of the lineup, deriving power from a detuned version of the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that is also situated in the MC20 supercar. Here is where the highly coveted speed clout of the car is rated at 523 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, and burns up roads gleefully with a 3.6-second 0-60 mph time and an exhilarating top speed of 177 mph. Another huge step forward that will be welcomed is the Maserati Intelligent Assistant, which is powered by Google Android OS and listens for voice commands to make every mile smooth and amazingly enjoyable!

2023 Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo

It’s hard to believe, but the Maserati Quattroporte has been around for 10 years! Here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we think that it’s a beautifully engaging model. The Quattroporte is available in rear or all-wheel drive, and your choice of three amazing engines. One of the engines is a Ferrari-sourced twin-turbo V8, delivering class-leading performance and a very memorable exhaust note. A pinnacle achievement, with only the best touring and sport elements as influences, Edmunds.com billed this year’s model as “one of the most exclusive sport sedans on the market.”

Even in the base-level trim, the Quattroporte proves to be a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an afternoon blasting down the interstate! At the top of the chain, the commanding Trofeo trim doles out 580 horsepower, and can easily hold its own against some of the finest German sport sedans. Another rival directly in the Quattroporte’s sights is the Porsche Panamera, however, we’re certain that you’re going to love the bold and expertly tuned handling characteristics of our model.

The Modena trim comes with a more powerful engine than the GT model but is also the only version available with all-wheel drive. The GT trim comes loaded with some of the most attractive standard features in the business, beginning with the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. There are adaptive suspension dampers to assist with a comfortable ride, and adaptive LED headlights that swivel as you turn the wheel. There’s also a sunroof, keyless entry and ignition, and a very crisp-sounding Harman Kardon audio system.

The entry-level GT also boasts very fine leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and a surround-view camera system. We’ve loved all the positive feedback we have received about the Adaptive Cruise Control, which is a futuristic step forward in intelligent driving that assists in maintaining a preset distance between you and the car traveling ahead. The Modena version comes with everything you’ll find on the GT, with a few more goodies under the hood. There’s the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, which makes 424 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, a sportier exterior trim, and gloss black interior trim.

The Trofeo model equips you with a very capable 3.8-liter turbocharged V8, cranking out 572 horsepower and 524 lb-ft of torque. There are upgraded brakes, and performance-tuned adaptive suspension to aid with every bump in the road. The Trofeo also adds a visual touch of Carbon-fiber exterior trim, column-mounted shift paddles, along with heated and ventilated sports seats. As with any of the finer things in life, the Quattroporte is available with several game-changing option packages.

Our favorite here at Jim Butler is the Sportivo, which adds Faux suede headliner, power-adjustable pedals with stainless steel trim, and 12-way power-adjustable sport seats with memory function. You can also select the Comfort and Convenience package, rounding things out perfectly with power-adjustable pedals, a power rear sunshade, and luxurious soft-close doors.

Ready to experience it for yourself? The team at Jim Butler Maserati is ready to help. Contact us today and let us find your new 2023 Maserati Quattroporte!

2023 Maserati Grecale

The Iconic Life publication is interested in sharing the finer things in life, like shopping trips to luxury centers across the globe, first-class hotel stays, and samples of the highest-end culinary delights. In a similar vein, Head Editor Renee Dee recently shared her experience with the all-new (stunning!) Maserati Grecale.
Keep in mind: Renee Dee has had the privilege of driving some of the finest vehicles in the world, and the Grecale was no disappointment! She was immediately impressed by the Grecale’s air of sophistication, especially inside. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and the sporty gauges are all crafted with pride and segment-leading craftsmanship, and the infotainment system provides simple access to climate control, tunes for the ride, and navigation.
SUVs have always been her preferred vehicle type, so she was thrilled to check out the Grecale’s excellent on-road handling capability. Dee pushed the start button and embarked on her exhilarating first encounter with the turbocharged 2.9-liter V6, which cranks out 330 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. Noticing its penchant for quickness off the line and a top speed of 160 mph, the precise steering and agile drive quality offered a perfect opportunity to enjoy winding roads. At Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis we love the “sport” setting on the Grecale, and so did she; it was grippy and perfectly engaging.
Parked out front of a luxury home setting, the Grecale commanded attention for its premium materials and superior stance. Its unique interior lighting made for a fitting mood for her drive off into the sunset as she headed out to enjoy a top-ranked bistro with friends. Here, it was evident that Grecale won her over; impressed by its very low center of gravity, expertly-tuned suspension and a grade of unique comfort that doesn’t sacrifice when it comes to handling.
The luxury touches found in the Grecale solidly put it far above a mere performance machine, providing added comforts, like heated and ventilated front seats, a premium sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. If you are thinking about bringing the kids along for a ride, the Grecale boasts an impressive arsenal of the latest safety technology, including airbags, advanced traction control, and a rearview camera. You’ll also be kept tightly under watchful wraps with lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring to keep you and your passengers safe during the trip.
First impressions are everything within the high-end auto market, and the Grecale’s sleek lines emulate everything great about past generations of Maserati, along with the necessary features and extra touches ensuring relevance for the future. The signature grille is ideally eye-popping with its chrome finish, and there are also LED headlights and taillights that add to the car’s unique appearance. This busy publisher encouraged anyone who loves the thrill of the open road to check out the Grecale: elegance, engagement, and polished presentation remain as an inspirational appeal for 2023!

2024 Maserati GranTurismo

We have long taken pleasure here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis in the fact that the region of a car’s origins is one of the elements that are integral in creating its resonating character. Our breed of Italian cars is known for their over-the-top and undeniable charm and unforgettably characteristic exhaust note. The Autoweek team closely looked at the passionate spirit of the returning GranTurismo this past week on their blog and were thrilled about its potential for many adventures through unmarked and winding roads.

The Trofeo model is Maserati’s highest-performance internal-combustion grand tourer, with power derived from the charming yet ideally-grunty 3.0-liter V6 Twin Turbo Nettuno engine. Cranking out 550 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, it situates the Trofeo in a keen middle ground of performance between the 490-horsepower GranTurismo Modena and the 750-horsepower electric GranTurismo Folgore. It has been a pinnacle time in history to witness just how efficient and modern the manufacturing process has become with the ability to crank out ICE or BEV models on the production line.

The testing crew immediately wanted to verify how quickly the car was off the line, and was greeted with the characteristic soft wail the Nettuno is known for. Seeing peak torque at 3000 rpm, the heavy pull itself works very efficiently to get up to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Just as the digital needle approaches the top of the engine’s rev parameter, you can excitedly snap one of the column-mounted paddles to enjoy a fierce boost that seems as if it were derived from a single-clutch transmission.

Each of the four drive modes enjoy a very specific relation to the transmission, and the Comfort mode provides the most seamless of the group. We have long thought that the most human component of driving is the steering system, here it is ranked as “perfectly immediate and direct.” Paired with a fast-steering ratio, you can simply execute a one-or-two-finger grab to successfully aim the car into any willing pocket during turning. It’s a wheel that fares amazingly well with its 3-spoke shape and thin build, providing a delicate sense that makes for more monumental outputs.

Surprisingly enough, it was Normal mode that allowed the Autoweek crew to enjoy the easy glide of the suspension over any bumps in the road. Here they also noticed the excellent quality of the adjustable air springs and electronically controlled dampers. The Vehicle Domain Control Module imposes the perfect blend of stability and traction to make scientific sense of the precision-lacking qualities of human driving. Since earlier versions of the GranTurismo were rear-wheel drive, the switch to all-wheel drive required the addition of new electronics to see the car keep a light sensation while driving at 4000 pounds.

All the necessary navigation elements are laid out nicely on a 12.3-inch central display, within easy viewing distance of the plush leather seats, spacious cabin, and another 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Concluding that even the German appeal of the new BMW 8-series doesn’t come close to the flair and sensational touring vibes of the GranTurismo, we are anxious for you to follow this review team’s lead and test drive a slice of unforgettable Italian flair this spring!

2023 Maserati Grecale Trofeo

Dropping the twin-turbo V6 from the MC20 into a compact SUV was just what we had in mind for an exhilarating way to kick off the New Year here at Jim Butler Maserati of St Louis! The Grecale Trofeo will boast 523 horsepower when excitingly all the way open, while also laying claim to a 0-60 mph run at just 3.6 seconds. The prestigious Car and Driver crew claimed after just a quick first glance that the Audi SQ5 and BMW X3M should take notes from the Grecale Trofeo’s well-designed exterior.

This is an all-new model for 2023, debuting next to the standard Grecale, and exists as the highest level of performance on the rung for our compact crossover. As the Trofeo has already delved into what is the pinnacle of luxury quality directly out of the gate, it comes standard with nearly every anticipated premium feature. You’ll be cheerfully burning through all varieties of straightaways and turns with 21-inch wheels on summer tires, 14-way power-adjustable front seats with heat, adaptive cruise control, and genuine leather upholstery.

We knew that with an engine borrowed from the otherworldly and almighty MC20, this would be an SUV that would solidify the bar for years to come regarding exhilarating performance. It’s not just the quick 0-60 time and 177 mph top speed that make the Grecale such a glistening jewel of sorts: many amazing qualities assist with its refined elegance. Multiple auto enthusiast entities on the web will excitedly be reporting accelerating results and driving impressions for the Trofeo, which also comes standard with an air suspension and adaptive dampers.

The Grecale Trofeo boasts an official EPA rating of 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, and the Car and Driver troupe will soon be enjoying the task of putting it through its due diligence on a highway testing route. Once inside, it’s evident that every little detail has been worked through to make things amazingly elegant. There are rich materials everywhere, along with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and pair of poised and ready touchscreens on the center stack.

A 3-zone climate system also comes as standard, and the Grecale Trofeo’s cargo area offers up to 20 cubic feet of space. Our very latest Google-based infotainment system is onboard, which runs on the 12.3-inch touchscreen. Each model comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with a Wi-Fi hotspot also included. Sonus Faber is responsible for the 5-star audio quality onboard, available for a completely game changing and pristine 21-speaker setup. Drawing their inspiration from the highest Italian culture, they are a brand that features natural sound, natural materials, and the surreal Lute shape.

We are always finding ways to make the ownership experience here at Jim Butler even more rewarding, and you’ll be enjoying first-rate warranty and maintenance coverage for the Grecale Trofeo. You’ll be thrilled to take a test drive of the superior crossover that Motor Trend billed as “Perfectly sharp, well-balanced, and track ready.”
