Here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we’re proud to represent a brand that not only defines Italian luxury but also continues to shape the future of performance. This year, Maserati took center stage at the Motor Valley Fest in Modena—a four-day celebration of automotive excellence running from June 5 to 8. And make no mistake, the Trident shone brighter than ever.
A Festival Rooted in Maserati’s Hometown
This open-air event, set in the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley, is a showcase of heritage and innovation—and for Maserati, it was personal. With over 80 years rooted in Modena, the brand chose this iconic location to celebrate the “Year of the Trident“, honoring the emblem that first roared to life on the Tipo 26 at the 1926 Targa Florio.
The festivities began with Maserati CEO Santo Ficili speaking at the Teatro Storchi, setting the tone for a weekend that beautifully blended the past, present, and future of the brand.
The GT2 Stradale: Race-Bred Power Meets Road-Ready Elegance
One of the undeniable highlights? The new GT2 Stradale—a street-legal stunner inspired by the Maserati GT2 race car. Finished in an elegant Powder Nude, the car drew admiring glances as it stood proudly in Piazza Roma. Under its sculpted hood lies the incredible 640-horsepower Nettuno V6 engine—the most powerful road-going internal combustion engine Maserati has ever produced.
This is not just a car—it’s a declaration. It combines raw power with refined design in a way only Maserati can. It’s the kind of machine that speaks to both your adrenaline and your aesthetic sensibilities.
GranCabrio Folgore: Pure Electric, Pure Maserati
Right nearby, the all-new GranCabrio Folgore turned heads with its striking Orange Devil finish. It’s Maserati’s first fully electric convertible, running on 800V technology for blistering performance and seamless charging. We were thrilled to see this groundbreaking vehicle make such a bold debut—it’s a glimpse into the future of Maserati.
Production of the GranCabrio kicks off in Modena by the end of 2025, joining the GT2 Stradale and MC20 in proudly wearing the “Made in Modena” badge.
A Look Inside the Heart of Maserati
During the festival, Maserati opened the doors of its historic Viale Ciro Menotti facility to the public. Visitors from around the globe walked the same floors where icons like the MC20 are crafted by hand. Guided tours on June 7 and 8 gave enthusiasts a rare behind-the-scenes experience, allowing them to witness firsthand the meticulous artistry that defines every Maserati.
Classic Heritage Meets Modern Expression
The celebration extended beyond just new models. Vintage Maseratis graced the Classics Pavilion at Giardini Ducali, while rare Mini vs Abarth matchups and a Supercar parade turned the streets into a moving museum. It was a vivid reminder of Maserati’s deep legacy and craftsmanship—elements that still inspire every new vehicle we offer here.
A Maserati for Every Enthusiast
What made the Motor Valley Fest so special was how it catered to every type of automotive enthusiast. And we aim to do the same. From longtime Maserati aficionados to those stepping into the brand for the first time, our lineup offers something uniquely exhilarating. Looking for heritage-rich power? The MC20 and GT2 Stradale deliver it in spades.
