Maserati GranCabrio

At Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we are excited to introduce the new GranCabrio, a stunning expression of our evolving legacy. With its sleek, Italian-inspired design, the GranCabrio offers two powerful engine options: the robust 542-horsepower Nettuno V6 or the all-electric 750-horsepower Folgore. Each option delivers a thrilling driving experience.

Imagine driving this refined, open-air grand tourer. The GranCabrio nods to Maserati’s rich history while embracing modern luxury and performance. Its spacious four-seat design and impressive trunk space invite you to enjoy “La Dolce Vita,” savoring the journey as much as the destination. The Maserati’s sleek, feline shape exudes power, ready to spring into action whether you are cruising leisurely or speeding down the road.

Inside, you’ll find Maserati’s exceptional attention to detail. Behind the wheel, the rising front fenders evoke classic Maserati design elements. Klaus Busse, Maserati’s head of design, describes the GranCabrio as a blend of heritage and modernity—Italian design rooted in timeless quality without chasing fleeting trends.

The car’s infotainment system, based on Google, features a 12.3-inch main touchscreen and an additional 8.8-inch display for climate controls. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For an immersive audio experience, the optional Sonus Faber system offers up to 16 speakers and 1195 watts.

Performance Options: Trofeo vs. Folgore

Choosing between the GranCabrio Trofeo and Folgore offers a unique perspective on Maserati’s grand touring legacy. The Trofeo features a twin-turbo V6, delivering dynamic power and smooth handling, perfect for winding roads or weekend getaways. In contrast, the Folgore EV offers stunning acceleration and silent power, making it an attractive option for those seeking a modern driving experience.

Maserati’s latest lineup—including the GranCabrio, GranCoupe, and Grecale—demonstrates a commitment to quality, innovation, and Italian elegance. With the Folgore, Maserati introduces the world’s first four-seat convertible EV, combining classic appeal with cutting-edge technology. This new chapter elevates Maserati’s reputation, providing driving enthusiasts and newcomers with an experience worthy of the brand’s legendary name.

The 2025 Maserati GranCabrio stands out with its open-air design and expertly crafted blend of high performance and luxury. Its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, derived from the MC20, produces 542 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission and supports all-wheel drive.

Luxury and Technology: Comfort and Features

The GranCabrio offers four driving modes: Comfort, GT, Sport, and Corsa. These modes allow drivers to customize their experience, from relaxed cruising to thrilling canyon carving. While it may be slightly slower than its GranTurismo coupe sibling, the GranCabrio impresses with a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds—remarkable for a convertible of its class. The fabric soft top lowers in just 14 seconds, giving you the full Maserati experience in the open air without sacrificing performance.

Luxury touches enhance the GranCabrio experience, such as a three-level neck warmer and an optional wind-stopper for comfort during top-down drives. Driver-assistance features like automated emergency braking and lane-departure warning are also available. This blend of style and technology enables the GranCabrio to rival luxury competitors like the Porsche 911 and Mercedes-AMG SL. It offers a distinctly Italian alternative, crafted for true grand touring in every sense.
