The Cool Hunting car writing team was recently excited to take our Maserati Grecale Folgore for a spin on its native soil, with the scenic olive groves of Puglia, Italy as a backdrop. The end of 2025 is still Maserati‘s ambitious deadline to see each model with a battery-electric version.

Much of their test model’s exterior was detailed in gloss black, an excellent visual complement to the vehicle’s lower ride height.
To properly maintain this height, the engineers meticulously dropped the floor plan to make extra room for the battery pack, from 8.3 inches to 6.7 inches. This results in a greater sense of speed, which any dedicated Maserati fan will always thoroughly embrace! This particular model offered black with interior stitching, with the seats covered in the groundbreaking Econyl recycled nylon fabric.
