With an affluent and artistic vibe, Monterey was the perfect location for the Northern California debut of the MC20 on the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn this week. VIP spectators were able to get a long-awaited first glance at the futuristic lines and sleek presence of the revolutionary sports car.
The world-class Nettuno engine evokes a strong sense of trademark Maserati heritage and is a V6 with F1 technology that creates a class-leading power-to-weight ratio that can propel the MC20 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds flat.
Built in Modena, Italy, our longstanding Italian tradition shines through in every square inch of this supercar that celebrates the raw excitement of shifting gears and changing lanes on an amped-up outing! Monterey has a Mediterranean climate and is a perfect location to allow the area’s most passionate automobile fans to experience the captivating and powerful presence of this modern-day engineering achievement.

With lightning-quick acceleration, sharp handling, and excellent styling inside and out, the MC20 is sure to make a memorable leap forward for the entire Maserati brand. The collaboration with engineering company Dallara resulted in the structure brandishing aluminum subframes for the powertrain and suspension, which minimizes overall weight and adds to peak performance. There’s also an optional front suspension lifter to assist you if you need extra clearance for rapidly incoming speed bumps.
Car And Driver confirmed after drive testing the MC20 that it is “blisteringly quick and handling is racecar sharp,” and that the performance was simply otherworldly. Inside the cabin are upscale materials with a sporty vibe, including black leather seats, unique aluminum pedals, and carbon-fiber trim. The next-generation interface using Google’s Android Automotive OS is projected nicely on a 10.3-inch horizontally-oriented touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, and an accompanying 10.3-inch screen is on deck for the gauge cluster.
