It’s hard to believe, but the Maserati Quattroporte has been around for 10 years! Here at Jim Butler Maserati of St. Louis, we think that it’s a beautifully engaging model. The Quattroporte is available in rear or all-wheel drive, and your choice of three amazing engines. One of the engines is a Ferrari-sourced twin-turbo V8, delivering class-leading performance and a very memorable exhaust note. Even in the base-level trim, the Quattroporte proves to be a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an afternoon blasting down the interstate! At the top of the chain, the commanding Trofeo trim doles out 580 horsepower, and can easily hold its own against some of the finest German sport sedans. Another rival directly in the Quattroporte’s sights is the Porsche Panamera, however, we’re certain that you’re going to love the bold and expertly tuned handling characteristics of our model.
The Modena trim comes with a more powerful engine than the GT model but is also the only version available with all-wheel drive. The GT trim comes loaded with some of the most attractive standard features in the business, beginning with the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. There are adaptive suspension dampers to assist with a comfortable ride, and adaptive LED headlights that swivel as you turn the wheel. There’s also a sunroof, keyless entry and ignition, and a very crisp-sounding Harman Kardon audio system.
The entry-level GT also boasts very fine leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and a surround-view camera system. We’ve loved all the positive feedback we have received about the Adaptive Cruise Control, which is a futuristic step forward in intelligent driving that assists in maintaining a preset distance between you and the car traveling ahead. The Modena version comes with everything you’ll find on the GT, with a few more goodies under the hood. There’s the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, which makes 424 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, a sportier exterior trim, and gloss black interior trim.
The Trofeo model equips you with a very capable 3.8-liter turbocharged V8, cranking out 572 horsepower and 524 lb-ft of torque. There are upgraded brakes, and performance-tuned adaptive suspension to aid with every bump in the road. The Trofeo also adds a visual touch of Carbon-fiber exterior trim, column-mounted shift paddles, along with heated and ventilated sports seats. As with any of the finer things in life, the Quattroporte is available with several game-changing option packages.
Our favorite here at Jim Butler is the Sportivo, which adds Faux suede headliner, power-adjustable pedals with stainless steel trim, and 12-way power-adjustable sport seats with memory function. You can also select the Comfort and Convenience package, rounding things out perfectly with power-adjustable pedals, a power rear sunshade, and luxurious soft-close doors.
